My Story

I have loved playing with hair for as long as I can remember. I attended the Cosmetology Program at Century College in High School before changing gears and working as a Portfolio Bookkeeper for many years. After a life changing event in 2014, I realized life was way too short not to do what makes me happy and back to school I went. In 2015 I received my Cosmetology License from Regency Beauty and I haven't looked back.

I worked for a salon for five years before taking the leap (in the middle of a pandemic, no less) to go out on my own and start my own business. Thus, Lennon James Beauty (or cclugerhair) was born. I am currently an independent stylist at Hair Bar in White Bear Lake, MN. My current passion in hair is creating dimensional colors, shags and adding length or volume with extensions.

In my free time you can find me at home with my family (Brett, Leighton & Lennon), relaxing by the pool, attempting to keep my plants alive, going to concerts, reading a good book or on the motorcycle.
